Job summary

The Pines at Philadelphia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for weekend evenings (3pm-11pm). You will coordinate total resident care and supervise nursing units to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

You will lead daily staffing discussions, support charge nurses, and reinforce training while ensuring safety, adherence to policies, and timely responses to emergencies. This role requires strong clinical leadership in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN license.
• Experience in the nursing field.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution as necessary.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange information on resident care and needs.
• Makes rounds to assess residents' condition with emphasis on critically ill cases.
• Ensures the nursing care plan is followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and provides direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing staff.
