Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to join our care team. Under the direction of the Administrator, you will provide daily ADL assistance, monitor residents, and help with vital signs and medications.

You will supervise care staff, maintain accurate MAR records, interact with residents and families, and ensure safety and quality of life in a supportive, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current LPN or RN license.
• Ability to read and write in English proficiently.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Capable of following MAR procedures and medication safety.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds with outgoing and incoming staff.
• Medication administration and accuracy of MAR.
• Ensure check-in, storage and destruction of all medications, including narcotics.
• Ongoing monitoring of residents' health status and wound care.
• Supervises care providers to ensure resident care and adherence to policies.
• Updates resident assessments and service plans with other nursing staff.
• Maintains resident records and mandatory forms.
• Reports suspected elder abuse or neglect and needed repairs.
