Job summary

Focused Care at Humble in Humble, TX seeks a Registered Nurse supervisor to assist the Director of Nursing in maintaining a high standard of resident care. You will oversee nursing services, participate in rounds, and ensure comprehensive medical, physical, emotional and psychological support for residents.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and implement care plans, monitor EMR documentation, and educate staff on policies to improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Supports Director of Nursing in supervising nursing care.
• Communicates with DON, MD, team, and residents to promote outcomes.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to assess and develop care plans.
• Makes rounds and assists residents and staff as needed.
• Uses critical thinking to prevent rehospitalizations.
• Monitors completion of EMR/documentation.
• Educates staff on policies and processes.
