Job summary

Registered Nurse RN - Home Care or Hospice with Main Line Health Home Care or Hospice Network is sought for weekend coverage across Delaware, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia County. Home visits deliver coordinated nursing care in the patient’s home.

Two years med-surg experience preferred; RN Diploma/ASN required, BSN preferred. CPR and PA license required; driver’s license and auto insurance recommended. Tuition reimbursement up to $6,000/year for eligible staff is available.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent med-surg experience in an acute or long-term care setting, rehabilitation, home care, or hospice preferred.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification required; certification in specialty area of nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated, comprehensive nursing care to patients in the home setting.
• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment in all aspects of care delivery.
• Address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs to improve function and quality of life.
• Get involved by joining Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, research projects, and precepting new staff.
