Job summary

Main Line Health seeks a Registered Nurse RN - Hospice to provide direct patient care and family support in patients' homes. You will coordinate with the Hospice and Palliative IDG to address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, improving quality of life and reducing suffering.

Two years of med-surg/hospice experience is preferred. A PA RN license is required, with option for multi-state licensure; driver’s license needed for home visits.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent med-surg experience in acute/long-term care, rehabilitation, home care or hospice.
• Hospice nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, education and support to patients and families in the home.
• Coordinate care with the Hospice IDG to address physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Contribute to quality of life and comfort for patients and families.

Registered Nurse RN - Hospice

Shift

8:30 am - 5:00 pm plus weekend rotation

Experience

• Two year(s) of recent med-surg experience in an acute or long term care setting, rehabilitation, home care, or hospice setting.
• Hospice Nurse experience preferred.

Education

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
• Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred.
