Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military service members in Idaho. The role primarily works on weekends, with occasional weekday engagements under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, on an as-needed basis.

You will assess health, review histories and records, interview service members to determine current and prior concerns, identify urgent issues including behavioral health, and document results in the service

Qualifications

• RN with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted nursing license in any US state.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health needs.
• Document interview results in readiness classification using our system.
