Job summary

DOCS Health in Idaho is seeking Registered Nurses to join as independent contractors providing services to military service members. The role focuses on weekends with occasional weekdays under the RHRP, working on an as-needed basis across Idaho.

Responsibilities include supporting physical health assessments, reviewing health history and records, interviewing personnel to identify medical concerns (including behavioral health), and documenting results in the service member's medical record

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in registered nursing.
• Unrestricted RN license in a U.S. state.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Ability to work weekends on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
