Job summary

William Penn Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Baylor to join our Lewistown, Pennsylvania facility. The role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents on weekends, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, and communicating with families and providers to ensure smooth transitions.

The ideal candidate will hold a PA RN license, have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and prefer experience in long-term

Qualifications

Current RN license in Pennsylvania
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to residents on weekends, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Monitor patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and report changes to the healthcare team
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction
