Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, plan and delegate care, and evaluate patient outcomes during the shift. You will identify priorities and ensure care aligns with established standards and goals.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Alabama or multi-state license, BLS, and certification requirements for critical care areas as needed. New RN graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient population.
• New RN graduates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Administer professional nursing care to all patients.
• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment.
• Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient response to care and progress toward outcomes.
• Be accountable for outcomes of patient care during the shift.
