Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to organize and coordinate the delivery of nursing care for patient groups, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures. The RN will monitor patient status, evaluate progress, perform treatments, and document clinical observations.

The role includes participating in orientation, training and the management of personnel while delivering direct patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AL RN License.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates the delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.
• Recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations.
• Participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.

Education
