Job summary

Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough, a member of Empath Health, seeks an Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pinellas County team. This role travels across the service area, assessing eligibility and guiding admissions for hospice and related services.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree and a Florida RN license, with 6 months to 1 year of related experience. Weekend schedule Friday–Sunday, 10a–10p, with comprehensive benefits and supportive growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Assess eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care and facilitate admission to appropriate programs.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during admission.
• Coordination with care teams to ensure timely access to services.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care and admit patients per program guidelines.
• Coordinate admissions across hospitals, homes, ALFs, and LTC settings.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and build relationships with internal and external partners.
