Job summary

Easter Seals TN is seeking a Rest Area Attendant to guarantee contract compliance with TDOT timeframes and maintain facilities to high standards. The role includes daily cleaning, paper-work accuracy, and adherence to safety policies during shifts.

The position requires a proactive approach to facility upkeep, grounds maintenance, and incident reporting, with participation in in-service trainings and adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical and mental alertness to perform duties.
• Maintenance experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rest areas to meet TDOT standards and complete required paperwork on time.
• Keep restrooms, foyers, storage, and public areas clean and sanitary.
• Report repairs and safety incidents to the Rest Area Supervisor and authorities as needed.
• Perform grounds maintenance and litter removal on grounds and parking areas.
• Stock brochures and assist with general upkeep per shift requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
