Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc in Tennessee seeks a Rest Area Attendant to perform all TDOT-required duties within state timeframes, keeping rest areas clean, staffed, and compliant with HIPAA, Title VI and confidentiality guidelines. You will complete paperwork, report repairs, maintain grounds, stock supplies, and support a safe, courteous environment for staff and visitors.

A High School Diploma/GED and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required; prior maintenance experience is a

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision or under general supervision.
Must be physically and mentally alert to perform duties.
Previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain rest areas in a clean and sanitary condition and restrooms stocked.
Sweep and hose down parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways each shift and keep walkways snow/ice free.
Report repairs or safety issues to the Rest Area Supervisor and follow safety procedures.
Keep storage, foyer, and reception areas clean and orderly; arrange and stock as needed.
Stock brochures at shift start and ensure grounds, gardens, and outdoor areas are cared for.
