Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Syosset, NY is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist with a passion for geriatric care to join a skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, perform bedside therapies, and participate in IDT meetings as needed.

Applicants must hold an approved COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed as an RRT or CRT in New York, with BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in NY.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to treat residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate equipment and monitor devices.
• Complete a variety of bedside respiratory treatments.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in rounds.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly documentation of care.
• Perform caseload tracking, auditing and related duties as assigned.
