Job summary

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join its skilled nursing facility team. The RT will assess and treat geriatric patients, initiate therapies, manage equipment, and contribute to staff education, with weekend Saturday/Sunday coverage.

The ideal candidate holds a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory therapy, is licensed as an RRT or CRT, and is BLS certified, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and track/document daily, weekly and monthly records.
