Job summary

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a geriatric-focused skilled nursing team. The RT will assess and treat residents, initiate therapies, and maintain records with minimal supervision in a facility setting.

Ideal candidates hold an RRT/CRT license, BLS, and COARC-accredited education. Weekend coverage (4-8 hours per day) is required, with Saturdays and Sundays on-site. Compensation ranges from $45–$55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation; participate in IDT meetings.
