Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, and manage respiratory care for geriatric residents, with independent practice and supervision as appropriate.

The role includes bedside treatments, equipment handling, and quarterly staff in-services, emphasizing documentation and IDT participation. Licensure in state and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for varied illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
