Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The role focuses on geriatric care, independent assessment and treatment, and delivery of advanced respiratory therapies on site at our Mount Juliet facility.

Candidates must hold a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed (RRT or CRT) in the practicing state, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside respiratory treatments.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly in records and participate in IDT meetings.
• Support residents in achieving functional respiratory goals.
