Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. You will evaluate, treat and document care for geriatric residents, operating independently within facility protocols.

The role requires a COARC-accredited degree and state licensure (RRT/CRT), with BLS. Expect 4–6 hour shifts, up to 8 hours, on Saturdays and Sundays, and active participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly and monthly care.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in respiratory program activities.
• Manage caseload and perform pulmonary interventions per policy.
