Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The candidate must hold a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, be licensed as RRT or CRT, and provide independent evaluation and treatment for residents.

Responsibilities include bedside treatments, documentation, and participation in IDT meetings, with experience in tracheostomy and long-term care settings. The schedule includes weekends with 4–6 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to manage residents with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and contribute to patient care.
• Conduct in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly documentation of care.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
