Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join its skilled nursing team. The role requires current state licensure, independent clinical judgement, and a passion for geriatric care.

The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, document care, and participate in inter-disciplinary team meetings, with a schedule including 4–6 hour shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensure as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for geriatric rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and provide in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation; attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings.
