Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to support the geriatric population in our skilled nursing facility. The RT must be licensed to practice in the state and capable of independent evaluation and treatment, with a focus on functional respiratory therapies to enhance resident experience.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, initiating therapies, bedside treatments, and maintaining complete documentation.

Formación

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state where practicing; BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform assessments and implement respiratory techniques to treat geriatric patients with various respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Deliver bedside treatments and complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation; attend IDT meetings.
• Track auditing and caseload management; perform related duties as required.
