Job summary

Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will hold an active state license as an RRT or CRT and be passionate about geriatric care, able to evaluate and treat independently, and perform functional respiratory therapies.

You will complete bedside treatments, maintain patient records, participate in quarterly staff in-services, and attend IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for geriatric patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and participate in staff in-services.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activities.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseloads.
