Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The candidate should hold a state license, be able to evaluate and treat independently, and perform functional activities to assist residents.

The role requires working 4-6 hours per shift, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and potentially longer shifts based on caseload. The position emphasizes geriatric care with responsibilities including bedside treatments,

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients with respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly documentation; attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy; long-term care setting experience.
• Follow facility procedures and protocol; perform caseload management.
