Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility team in Tennessee. The role requires independent evaluation and treatment with licensure in the state and a passion for geriatric care.

Responsibilities include respiratory assessments, initiating therapies, documenting progress, and providing staff education. Prior experience in tracheotomy care and long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state practicing BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
• Manage caseload, perform respiratory interventions and emergency support as needed.
