Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Hold an active RRT or CRT license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress patient rehab.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, and operate equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly, monthly notes.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in care planning.
• Provide tracheotomy experience and long-term care setting familiarity.
• Follow facility procedures and policies for respiratory care.
• Support oxygen therapy, CPAP/BIPAP, and airway clearance techniques.
