Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric-focused team in Tennessee. The RT will conduct assessments, initiate therapies, and document progress while working independently within a Skilled Nursing facility.

The role requires a COARC-accredited respiratory program graduate, valid state license as RRT or CRT, and BLS certification. Experience with tracheostomy care and long-term care settings is preferred to support residents

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and implements respiratory therapies for geriatric residents.
• Initiates therapies, maintains patient records, operates and checks equipment.
• Performs bedside treatments and ensures documenting daily/weekly/monthly activities.
• Attends IDT meetings and participates in unit policy procedures.
• Handles tracheotomy care and airway clearance techniques with minimal supervision.
• Executes respiratory interventions including oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol treatments.
