Job summary

New Narrative is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Residential Support Specialist in Gresham, OR. The role supports residents in a residential treatment program, with Saturday-Sunday day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM.

The RSS collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote skills, independence, and safe daily living, while ensuring a clean and organized home environment. Ideal candidates will be at least 18 years old, able to administer CPR and Narcan, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• QMHA credentials preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and capable of implementing emergency procedures and disaster plan.
• Must be able to administer CPR and Naloxone (Narcan).
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage residents to support movement toward goals and transition planning.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
• Provide and facilitate group activities and community engagement.
• Follow Oregon Administrative Rules for Home and Community Based mental health services.
