Job summary

Salvation Army Memphis Area Command is seeking a part-time Housing Assistant to support residents in a 24-hour residential facility. The role requires weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) from 12:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with a 30-minute unpaid break, totaling 15 hours per week, in Memphis, TN.

You will supervise clients, maintain records, ensure confidentiality, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate with the supervisor to support daily activities and client morale.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related work experience in a social service setting preferred.
• Valid State Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility.
• Maintains records and communicates daily client activities to the supervisor.
• Follows confidentiality policies to protect resident privacy.
• Provides crisis intervention and ensures 24-hour monitoring of clients.
