Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Residence Assistant to help run the residential program, enforcing house rules, supervising evening and early morning operations, and supporting beneficiaries with daily activities.

You will assist with crisis intervention, coordinate with counselors and staff, manage documentation and reports, and help ensure a safe, orderly environment aligned with the center's mission.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Residential and rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is aware of and in agreement with The Salvation Army’s Christian spiritual approach to rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Enforce house rules and policies; ensure security during evening/early morning hours.
• Provide crisis intervention and document sessions for counselors.
• Supervise access to medications and assist with personal needs.
• Maintain inventories, daily bed rosters, and weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate with staff on work therapy assignments and center activities.
• Attend staff meetings and support program operations.
