Arc Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Residential Weekend Monitor for Saturdays and/or Sundays at the Women’s Residential Program in Madison, WI.

The role focuses on resident supervision, safety, and program support during overnight and weekend shifts. You will help maintain a supportive, trauma-informed environment for women pursuing recovery, stability, and independence, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in human services.

Qualifications

• Ability to model healthy decision-making, boundaries, and respectful communication.
• Interest in women’s services, human services, behavioral health, or criminal justice.
• Ability to stay calm, compassionate, and professional in a structured residential setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliability, sound judgment, and commitment to consistency and fairness.
• Experience in residential services, behavioral health, substance use recovery, or work with justice-involved women or mothers is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct supervision, structure, and supportive presence to women residents during overnight and weekend shifts.
• Maintain a safe, calm, and respectful living environment that supports recovery.
• Conduct hourly safety and quality assurance checks during overnight shifts.
• Follow trauma-informed, gender-responsive approaches; respond to crises using de-escalation techniques.
• Observe and document medication self-administration per guidelines; does not administer medications.
• Assist with resident transportation needs, including distributing bus tokens.
