Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester is hiring a part-time residential staff member for Catholic Charities Family and Community Services. You will support residents in a safe, therapeutic environment through medication observation, recreation, and facility management, while upholding confidentiality and trauma-informed care standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS driver’s license, and at least two years in human services.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required.
• Two years of experience in human services, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services preferred.
• Knowledge of homeless client issues preferred.
• Experience with conflict resolution techniques preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor residents to ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
• Provide transportation when needed.
• Conduct room searches to ensure safety and environment.
• Observe and supervise activities and meals.
• Complete required documentation and shift notes in electronic records.
• Assist with monthly fire drills and emergency procedures.
• Support trauma-informed care and Confidentiality as per NYS guidelines.
