Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Per-Diem, part-time role to support a safe, therapeutic residential environment for residents. Responsibilities include medication observation, group activities, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid NYS driver’s license, and at least two years in human services or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with clean record.
• Two years of experience in human services, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services.
• Knowledge of homeless client issues preferred.
• Experience with conflict resolution techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors residents to assure a safe therapeutic environment.
• Provide transportation when needed.
• Conducts urine toxicology screens as scheduled.
• Oversees meal preparation by clients and ensures sanitation and nutrition standards (L2 certification required).
• Maintains cleanliness of facility and conducts monthly fire drills.
• Provides medication observation and monitoring in absence of LPN coverage.
• Enters shift notes and group notes into the electronic client record system.
• Completes incident reports and documents unusual incidents.
• Debriefs information during shift changes and ensures safety at start/end of shift.
• Engages security system and responds to emergencies as required.
