Job summary

Catholic Charities Family and Community Services (CCFCS) in Rochester is seeking staff for a full-time residential role. You will support residents in a safe, therapeutic environment, assist with medications, activities, and daily living while upholding confidentiality and trauma-informed care.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid NYS driver’s license, and experience with behavioral health services. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; the schedule is Sun-Thurs, 4pm-12am.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License.
• Experience working with substance use disorder clients and/or mental health services preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents to assure a safe therapeutic environment.
• Make hourly visual contact with residents and document observations.
• Support residents’ comprehensive treatment plans from admission through discharge.
• Lead or cover psychoeducational groups when needed.
• Arrange transportation for residents and supervise meals to ensure safety and nutrition.
