Job summary

Community Teamwork Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor for weekend evenings and overnight shifts in our Shelter Staff program. This part-time role (16 hours) covers 2nd shift Saturdays/Sundays 4pm-12am and 3rd shift overnights 12am-8am, with a $3 shift differential for overnights.

You will help guests with life skills, support site operations, and enforce safety and program guidelines. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year in human services, strong customer service,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in human services preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficient with basic computer software and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests and the site.
• Enforce site rules and regulations for smooth operation.
• Respond to emergencies, document appropriately, and follow guidelines.
• Complete intake for new guests.
• Provide support and structure addressing guest issues.
• Initiate crisis intervention when needed.
• Record documentation per program guidelines.
