Job summary

The Salvation Army Memphis is seeking a part-time Resident Services Associate to supervise and support residents in a transitional housing setting. The role includes crisis intervention, daily record-keeping, confidentiality, and coordinating client activities with supervision. Weekend schedule is Saturday–Sunday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of related work experience in a social service setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid State Driver License.
• Ability to drive daily and work in a residential/transitional housing environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and resident privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support to clients in a residential facility.
• Maintains records of all program residents and completes assigned paperwork and statistics.
• Follows policies for confidentiality to protect resident privacy.
• Provides crisis intervention and ensures 24-hour monitoring of clients.
