Job summary

The Salvation Army in Memphis, TN is seeking a part-time Admin Support worker for weekend shifts (Saturday–Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).

The role involves supervising clients in a residential facility, maintaining records, and providing crisis intervention and daily communications with supervision. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, one year of related experience in social services, and a valid state driver license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related work experience preferably in a social service setting.
• Valid State Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility; maintains appropriate records and communicates with supervisor about daily client activities.
• Facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization.
• Assists and responds to inquiries from non-clients.
• Maintains and updates records of all program residents; completes assigned paperwork, documentation, and statistics as assigned.
• Follows written policy and procedures for confidentiality to maintain resident privacy.
• Provides necessary crisis intervention; ensures 24-hour monitoring of clients.
