Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a casual rehab aide to support acute care patient needs at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. You will assist with patient care under the direction of a therapist, issue equipment to patients, and help clean and maintain rehab spaces.

This role offers opportunities to learn about rehabilitation services and support multiple disciplines within rehab. Expect weekend shifts with 7:30am–4:00pm on a rotating schedule and occasional holidays.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required before end of orientation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient transfers and transport.
• Transports assigned patients safely and promptly.
• Assist with direct patient care under supervision of Rehab staff.
• Maintain and clean treatment areas and equipment.
• Assist with ordering, inventory of supplies and equipment.
