Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a therapy support role to assist in Physical and Occupational therapy care delivery. You will prepare treatment areas, equipment and materials, and perform procedures under supervision of licensed therapists.

You will assist patients with transfers, ADLs and gait training, help with therapy sessions, and support operations of the therapy department including light clerical and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to assist with transfers, activities of daily living, and gait training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area, patient equipment and materials for therapy.
• Assist in the delivery of therapy services under licensed therapists.
• Assist patients with care needs and provide encouragement to perform treatments correctly.
• Support operations of the therapy department, including cleaning and clerical duties.
