Golden LivingCenters in Petersburg, IN seeks a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care for residents. The Baylor schedule covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts with incentive pay per policy, and additional shifts may be picked up for bonuses.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player, licensed RN in Indiana with CPR certification, who collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and follow the plan of care and ensure resident-centered

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in state of practice (Indiana) required.
• Current CPR certification required; must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire.
• CPR and nursing skills used to deliver resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care focused on outcomes using the nursing process.
• Identify discharge planning needs and follow-up during stay.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans with the care team.
• Implement plans effectively with available resources for residents and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain resident comfort and apply current nursing best practices.

Baylor Schedule

Work three 12-hour shifts every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and receive Baylor incentive pay in accordance with company policy.

Opportunities are available to pick up additional shifts and earn incentive bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Assure that effective quality nursing care is delivered which is outcome focused through utilization of the nursing process.


• Identify needs and provide input for discharge planning and follow-up throughout length of stay


• Assist with development of individualized plan of care in collaboration with the resident/responsible party and interdisciplinary care team


• Implement plan of care consistently, effectively and cost efficiently with focus on resident centered outcomes by utilizing all appropriate, available resources for resident, family or responsible party counseling and discharge planning.


• Work in collaboration with physician and other health care professionals by sharing information relevant to changing plan of care


• Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort by demonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practices

Qualifications

• Currently Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice required


• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification. Licensed nursing staff are required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days of hire.


• License in good standing with the state. Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
