Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a part-time Receptionist to manage weekend front-desk duties and greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries. The role requires basic computer skills with MS Office and a high school diploma.

A background check and drug screen post-offer are required. The position offers a stable, patient-focused environment at a newly transformed facility, with opportunities to support administrative tasks and improve visitor experience.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Long term care experience preferred (1 year).
• Post-offer background check and drug screen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or by phone.
• Operates a multi-line telephone system to answer calls and direct callers.
• Provides directions and information to visitors and residents.
• Greet visitors and direct to the appropriate office or resident room.
• Receives, sorts and distributes mail; maintains route publications.
• Monitors visitor sign-in and access control.
• Provides administrative support to the Administrative staff.
• Complies with HIPAA requirements.
• Maintains a clean reception area and communicates needs to the team.
• Assists Business Office tasks such as accounts payable and residents' funds as needed.
