Job summary

Ralliant is seeking an experienced Level II Receiving Inspector to join the Quality Assurance team on a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday). The role focuses on inspecting incoming mechanical components and subassemblies to meet engineering specifications and industry standards.

Knowledge of GD&T and familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC‑A‑610 is a strong plus, with SmartScope and CMM experience highly desirable. You will document findings, generate NCRs when needed, and collaborate with Quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in mechanical inspection or quality assurance preferred.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings is essential.
• Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 is advantageous.
• Experience using multi-sensor measurement systems (SmartScope) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspection of incoming mechanical components, subassemblies and materials.
• Program and operate SmartScope or similar measurement systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Verify certifications and maintain traceability of material lots.
• Document inspections and non-conformances in the QMS.
