Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Weekend shift to inspect PCBA hardware and ensure conformance for aerospace-grade products. You will perform receiving inspections, read plans and drawings, and report nonconformances. The role requires familiarity with IPC-610, AS9102, and GD&T.

Experience in aerospace QA, IPC-610/IPC-620, and metrology software/tools is preferred. The position operates Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with shift differentials and opportunities for

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Quality Inspector in a Receiving Inspection Role.
• 2+ years experience reading/interpreting Engineering Drawings or schematics.
• 2+ years experience using hand measuring tools (height gauge, calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCB/PCBA hardware to IPC 610 and J-Std / Space addendum.
• Report nonconformances when defective material is found.
• Lead 5S activities around the Quality area to keep spaces efficient.
• Read inspection plans and work instructions to perform quality inspections.
• Read engineering drawings to ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Perform critical in-process and final inspections on assembled product.
• Complete FAIRs to AS9102 requirements.
