Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Level III Receiving Inspector (Mechanical Components/AS9100) to support a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday) in our California facility. You will lead advanced inspections of incoming mechanical and electronic parts, program Smartscope and/or CMM, and generate NCRs to ensure AS9100 compliance and aerospace quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical inspection, hands-on GD&T and IPC/J-STD experience, and the ability to mentor junior inspectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience.
• Hands-on experience with SmartScope or CMM required.
• Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming components to AS9100 standards.
• Program and operate Smartscope and/or CMM for automated inspections.
• Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances with NCRs.
• Mentor Level I/II inspectors and support quality engineering activities.
