Lehigh Valley Health Network is hiring a Diagnostic Technologist II for weekend shifts. You will deliver diagnostic radiologic imaging under physician direction, while maintaining radiation safety and providing high-quality patient care in a busy radiology setting.

Qualifications include radiography education, PA RT registration upon hire, and BLS within 30 days. Weekend schedule with rotation across holidays. Opportunity for growth within LVHN.

Qualifikationen

• Technical School Diploma with accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
• Completion of Radiologic program (≤1 year) as noted in qualifications.
• Ability to handle confidential medical information ethically.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and medical terminology.
• PA RT registration upon hire and AHA BLS within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Produces diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Maintains radiation safety standards and proper exposure factors.
• Verifies orders, patient history, and documentation; ensures PACS transfer of images.
• Coordinate daily work duties within the radiology team and maintain workflow.
• Assist in training of new staff and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
