Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 08:00-20:00) in Richland Township. You will perform diagnostic radiologic imaging under physician direction, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and deliver high-quality patient care with excellent customer service.

Minimum qualification is an accredited radiography program with ARRT-RT eligibility. BLS within 30 days and PA certification upon hire; lifting requirements and ability to work

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
• <1 year completion of Radiologic program.
• Ability to handle confidential information with ethics.
• Understanding of radiation producing equipment and safety practices.
• BLS certification (PA) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic quality images and prepare them for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain radiation protection standards and proper exposure factors.
• Ensure exam accuracy and correct patient documentation.
• Coordinate daily work with team and ensure images reach PACS.
• Assist in education and training of new staff and students.
