Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic-quality radiographs under the direction of a physician, while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

The role focuses on delivering high patient care and customer service, with weekend shifts and an onsite setting at Moselem. You will participate in team coordination, safety protocols, and ongoing training for new staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma in Radiography or equivalent required.
• Completion of Radiologic program within 1 year.
• Ability to handle medical information confidentially.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, medical terminology, and radiology equipment.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - PA licensure upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic-quality radiographs under physician supervision.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and protection.
• Adjust exposure factors, collimation, and documentation accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care at all times.
• Verify exam orders and attach to patient records.
• Coordinate daily workflow within the radiology team and timing of exams.
• Ensure images transfer to PACS before study is finalised.
• Assist in training of new staff and students.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
