Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Technician for weekends (Fri-Sun) to verify first article and in-process components using CMM and standard work instructions. You will assist Manufacturing Technicians, troubleshoot, and update procedures to improve quality and consistency on the shop floor.

The role requires 2 years of inspection experience, blueprint reading skills, and familiarity with calibration. Strong data recording and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience inspecting machined parts.
• 2 years experience blueprint reading.
• Experience using precision inspection tools/measuring equipment and familiarity with calibration requirements.
• SolidWorks and Microsoft Office preferred.
• CMM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Operators, Buyers, and Engineers to drive dimensional challenges to resolution.
• Uses 5S to improve cleanliness, reducing takt time and increasing consistent outcomes.
• Perform 1st article & in-process inspections of manufacturing processes from the shop floor.
• Maintain data documentation records based on retention requirements.
• Accurate and timely completions of DMT (defective material tags).
• Provide quality training as assigned.
