Job summary

Qualifications

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, finished products, and packaging.
• Maintain GMP, safety, sanitation, and quality-control procedures.
• Complete inspection forms and quality records accurately.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns to Production and Quality Management.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished toiletry and personal care products for quality, appearance, consistency, and proper packaging.
• Perform in-process inspections throughout the production line.
• Check products for defects, contamination, labeling errors, incorrect quantities, or packaging issues.
• Verify product specifications, lot numbers, labels, dates, and other required information.
• Collect product samples for testing and quality evaluation as required.
• Follow established GMP, safety, sanitation, and quality-control procedures.
• Complete inspection forms, quality records, and production documentation accurately.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns to Production and Quality Management.
• Place products on hold when quality standards are not met, following company procedures.
• Assist with investigations of quality issues and corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, attendance, confidentiality, and employee conduct.
• Perform additional quality-control duties as assigned.
