Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Weekend Night QA/Quality inspector for manufacturing operations. You will verify GMP/GDP adherence, inspect materials, and ensure packaging readiness per SOPs.

The role requires a 4-year diploma with at least two years in quality or related areas, and you will support process improvements and documentation accuracy on the production line. Expect to work on site with potential cross-training to related positions.

Qualifications

• 4-year diploma or equivalent; experience in manufacturing quality or related area (2 years)
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP principles; strong documentation skills
• Good reading and writing in English and Spanish; effective communication

Responsibilities

• Verify materials and solvents per BOM and GMP standards.
• Organize, clean, sanitize and maintain the work area per production standards.
• Inspect production for defects and prepare for packaging per SOPs and specs.
• Perform and participate in product rework for nonconforming items.
• Handle packaging per product specifications and move finished goods.
• Assemble components as required and assist during breaks.
• Operate equipment and document parameters and tests per SOPs.
• Sort and recycle discarded materials.
• Train for other tasks at same level as needed.
• Prepare and print product labels as required and verify labeling integrity.
• Record defect results in Infinity QS when needed.
• Maintain documentation in POMS or manually, as specified.
• Complete batch closeout and hand over to group leader with all docs.
• Use Xinco or manual systems to verify current documentation.
• Observe GMP, GDP, and EHS rules at all times.
• Support EHS safety inspections and continual improvement.
• Participate in on-the-job training for certification processes.
• Communicate deviations that affect operations metrics (OEE, Quality, Safety).
